Redevlopment of St Cuthberts Church Hall, Sheffield
This project was commissioned by the church who were trying to raise funds for the long term security of the church on this site. As such they realised that to maximise the value of the site planning permission for a residential development would be beneficial.
We therefore developed a scheme that would see the demolition of the existing Church Hall adjacent to the Grade 2 listed church building and the construction of 12 apartments in three/four storey blocks on the site with associated amenity space and car parking.
Through lengthy discussions with the local Planning Authority, including their Conservation Team, we were able to develop the scheme that saw the granting of a full planning permission maximising the value of the site.
