This project involved a contemporary single storey extension to our client's existing home. The principal extension forms a new open plan dining area with alterations to the existing kitchen area. An additional lower key extension joins the new extension to the converted car port side entrance hallway.
Floor to ceiling glazing and folding/sliding glazed doors allow the dining space to be opened up to the new patio area, bringing the outside into the home. Careful detailing of the junctions between new and old allow the new spaces within the existing home to flow seamlessly into the new extension.
