Following our work on the Round 1 Children's Centres for Nottinghamshire County Council, T.A.D. were comissioned to undertake feasibility studies across a number of sites in the County for the Second Round of centres following further Government funding approval.
This second round of centres focussed on sessional creche provision, with training and support facilities for parents. Out of School Club facilities were also combined with some appropriate facilities to maximise the potential of a variety of funding sources with some joined up thinking.
The initial feasibility studies were carried out on 10 different sites and resulted in New Build schemes at Bridge, Newark and Lake View in Rainworth. Extension and refurbishment schemes were completed at Annie Holgate, Hucknall; Bellamy Road, Mansfield; Dukeries, Ollerton; and Beeston.
