Penistone Town Hall & Paramount Cinema Refurbishment

T.A.D. were commissioned via a competitive tender providing a full multidisciplinary team for RIBA stages 1-7.

The internal alterations and refurbishment of the Penistone Town Hall building to create a more functional and usable building for the community, linking through to the Paramount cinema to improve the facilities with particular emphasis on the accessibility and toilet facilities.

Retention of original features such as the stained glass within the main corridor to be used as feature/focal point for the main route through the building. The creation of a focused main entrance centrally on the façade with a new ramp and step access to improve the overall access into the building and flow through to both the Paramount cinema and other facilities offered within the building.
